Content Designer - Technical Writer - API's - Microservices - Figma - £400/£430 (Inside IR35) - London - Hybrid

I am looking for an experienced Content Designer who has commercial experciance working as a Technical Writer with a Software Engineering environment. We are specifically looking for curious, big-picture thinkers who can also deep dive into the details, as well as proactive, eager, self-motivated qualities

Essential Skills:

Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry with a focus on APIs, internal tools, or developer tooling
Write, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for Enterprise API Platform and Developer Portals, including guides, tutorials, and in-platform instructions.
Produce customer and internal resources like demonstrations, videos, training materials, and FAQs.
Create user guides and how-to articles for developers to integrate with APIs. (including Authentication/Authorization using OAuth2 Authentication flows)
Develop templates for API reference documentation.
Maintain information architecture templates for easy data migration.
Gather feedback to improve documentation quality and relevance.
Ensure all documentation is technically accurate and adheres to high standards
Develop engaging and accessible content that explains complex technical concepts and instructions clearly and concisely
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and related technologies
