Job description
A fast-growing DTC consumer goods brand are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to oversee the brand's website, focusing on optimising the customer journey to maximise conversion rate and consumer experience.
You'll own the end-to-end customer experience on the website, from landing pages to checkout, as well as identifying areas for improvement, running tests, and implementing enhancements to boost user engagement and optimize sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Map out and analyze the end-to-end customer journey, identifying areas for improvement to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience from first visit to post-purchase.
- Develop strategies to improve key touchpoints, including landing pages, product pages, and the checkout process, optimizing for usability and conversion.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the website, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor website performance metrics, such as site speed, bounce rates, and conversion rates, and implement changes to improve them.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure the site is technically optimized for both desktop and mobile.
- Plan and execute A/B tests and multivariate tests to improve website features, layout, and content based on data insights.
- Analyze results from testing, customer behaviour data, and feedback to make informed decisions about website enhancements.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, heat maps, and user feedback to identify trends and understand customer needs.
- Partner with the product and marketing teams to create compelling product pages, promotions, and up-sell opportunities that drive conversions.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure seamless integration between website initiatives and broader marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on e-commerce platform developments and identify new tools or plugins that could enhance website performance and user experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an e-commerce role, ideally within a DTC consumer goods brand.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, CRO, and e-commerce best practices.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento)
- Experience with analytics and testing tools, including Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing platforms
- Data-driven with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

This is a hybrid role based in the office (Chelsea, London) 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs), with working from home on a Friday.
