We are delighted to be working with Creative Equals once again for this year’s Creative Comeback 2022, in partnership with D&AD and Diageo.
In it's fourth year now, the Creative Comeback programme has helped over 79% of it's alumni return to work but more action is needed.
The two week programme running from Monday June 6th - Friday 17th June 2022, is aimed at supporting women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people get back into the Creative Industries after a career break.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The programme will run virtually for two weeks. Please note the final day - 17th June - will be in person at a London location.
In week 1, you will get to meet your fellow attendees and a creative mentor from a high profile agency. D&AD will run sessions to help flex your creative muscles again and get you up to speed with creative industry trends. You'll also receive a portfolio crit and hear from key speakers about how to navigate today’s job market.
Week 2 will be more hands-on, and in teams of 2-3, you will work on a creative brief set by our gold sponsors Diageo. Your creative mentor will offer support through daily check-ins and on the final day you will get the opportunity to practice your presentation skills and present your ideas back to Diageo, all the creative mentors, industry contacts and recruiters. After the presentation there will be an opportunity to network.
ELIGIBILITY
For eligibility, you must meet the following criteria:
Have had a career break for at least 12 months (eg. parenthood, illness, caring break, travelling etc)
Be a women, non-binary or gender non-conforming person
Minimum of 5 years as an art director, copywriter or designer (or very similar role)
Majority of experience working in the advertising, comms, marketing, digital or design industry
Must have support structures in place to be able to attend the course virtually every day from 9:30am - 3:30pm, and attend a London location on Friday 17th June.
There are also limited funds to support travelling and / or caring costs for those that may need it.
