Full Stack Software Engineer

I'm working on behalf of a client in the legaltech space who are looking to bring on a Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic and growing team!

They've got ambitious growth plans in their tech teams over the next 12 months and are looking for somebody to grow with them.

The Role: Full Stack Engineer

They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their R&D Team. The R&D Team is responsible for transforming complex legal information challenges into data-driven tools that can be integrated into their product portfolio.

Tech Stack

• Storage: S3 (object storage), DynamoDB (rapid retrieval)
• Search & Analytics: Elastic Search
• Core Functionality: Python, GraphQL API
• Front End: React with TypeScript and JavaScript
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features across the product portfolio
• Write and maintain reliable and clean code in Python, TypeScript, React, and JavaScript
• Improve systems for ingesting legal content from global sources
• Enhance core functionalities and user experience within their products
• Optimize systems for production environments
• Handle generalist tasks and report directly to Dan
• Manage projects from conception to completion

Role Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in software engineering, with enough expertise to handle a more senior role
• Proven track record in utilizing technologies effectively, particularly Python and TypeScript
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React
• Strong understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
• Experience with building complex systems, data pipelines, and cloud-based APIs
• Comfortable in an agile and iterative team environment
• Fast learner with the ability to master new technologies
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Flexible developer comfortable in a startup environment
