Job description
Head of Creative - ed tech brand - remote with monthly office days
I am looking for an experienced Creative Director level candidate from a copywriting background, to drive creative and marketing initiatives, particularly brand narrative and content, for a prominent and fast growing Ed Tech brand
This role will oversee a large team and will also involve giving steer on Art Direction, so you will need to have an integrated skillset.
What I need from you:
- You are a hands-on head of creative / associate creative director / Creative Director with strong brand storytelling and copywriting skills
- You have a beautifully presented team portfolio of work displaying your ability to work from concept to development and completion across multiple platforms in order to drive consumer engagement with a brand
- Strategic and fresh conceptual thinking + ability to translate your thinking into the mechanics of a brief for video, design or copy, including hands-on work
- Expertise in Art Direction
- B2B and B2C experience
- Commerically minded and KPI driven
- Team management & development experience is an absolute must - you need to have at least 1 or 2 lead level direct reports who also oversee large teams
- Studio operations experience including team performance, workflow and resource mgmt.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management + the ability to get your teams and stakeholders on board with your vision
- An approachable and friendly nature with a lack of ego and strong ability to build rapport with your colleagues
- The ability to confidently and articulately pitch and present your ideas to internal and external stakeholders
- The desire to keep up with trends, best practices etc and inspiring teams to do so
- Forward-thinking, confidence challenging briefs
Salary: £70-£85k depending on experience
Location: remote with monthly office days
