Job description

ROLE: Senior Prod Artworker

Rare opportunity to join a design studio specialising on the entertainment and publishing industries.

Key Responsibilities

- The creation of high quality, accurate artwork files across the retail offering, specifically in the creation of product, packaging, and textiles artwork.
- Sign off production proofs ensuring the highest quality and standards at all times.
- Supporting the design and production team by creating print-ready artwork based on approved creative concepts and design briefs.
- Ensuring that all artwork files are meticulously prepared, focusing on accurate dimensions and specifications as well as meeting industry standards and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Creating and modifying artwork files, including retouching as required, ensuring colour accuracy, resolution, and file formats for various printing methods.
- Assist in the preparation of artwork and production specifications and liaise with 3rd party production studios for accurate printing outcomes.
- Attend studio and production meetings, liaise/visit suppliers including for colour testing, proofing or press-passing as required.

Skills & Experience

- Highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Extensive experience in a Production Artworker role
- Technical expert with an excellent understanding of print production processes, colour management, and printing across different materials, formats and finishes.
- Ability to create detailed technical guides and structural artwork.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while working quickly and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Independent with good problem-solving skills. Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues which arise in the artworking and production process.
