Social Media Content Specialist - Fitness & Outdoor Brand
Salary: £35K
Location: Southampton

A leading global brand specialising in fitness and outdoor technology, renowned for its innovative products and commitment to inspiring an active lifestyle.
The Role
This hands-on role will see you take ownership of social media management and content creation for UK and Ireland market. You'll be responsible for delivering social-first content (video and static), engaging with the online community, and tracking key metrics to grow the brand's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily management of social media channels, ensuring alignment with marketing strategy
- Create engaging, high-quality content for both organic and paid campaigns while maintaining the brand's identity
- Deliver consistent and impactful community management by actively engaging on social feeds
- Plan and manage the social media calendar to maximise product launches, events, and campaigns
- Analyse and report on social media activity, providing actionable insights to optimize engagement and ROI
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a social media and content creator role
- Must have a portfolio demonstrating content you've created
- Proven ability to create engaging and innovative social-first content
- Proficient content editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite & CapCut)
- Experience managing and engaging with online communities
- Strong copywriting skills for social media channels
- Passion for fitness, the outdoors, and a creative approach to content creation
