Production Director - Experiential Events & Design

Major Players are partnering with an esteemed, B Corp certified, Creative Event and Design Studio based in South West London, to recruit for a Creative Production Director. If you'd like the opportunity to work with big names in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, to create culture-smart brand experiences, from events, to photoshoots, activations and packaging toolkits, this is the role for you.

Job Summary

The Creative Production Director will be responsible for the smooth running of projects and activations within the agency, ensuring excellent client management and the overall project success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creatively ambitious company, as part of their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and producing large-scale projects and activations within the agency from pop ups to product launches - you will be responsible for the full development of creative projects from initial ideas through to delivery.
  • Leading and inspiring the team to ensure projects are delivered successfully on time and on budget, from pitch to wrap stage.
  • Ensuring consistency and quality of projects and improving efficiencies within the team.
  • Grow existing client accounts, maximising spend and ensuring repeat business.
  • Signing off project timelines, proposals and budgets for your direct team - including scoping out the commercial viability of live jobs once signed off.
  • Managing client budgets and quotes - overseeing internal budget management and P&L updates.
  • On-site event delivery - UK and overseas, with a requirement to sometimes working weekends and evening as required.
  • Managing a team of 3 Producers.


Experience required and personal attributes

  • Previous experience in a similar role, within an events and activation agency or studio.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent client facing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be creatively driven with an awareness of current trends in advertising and design.
  • Resilience working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Work closely with other teams such as client services, finance etc.
  • Have an interest in sustainability, materiality and look at 'experience production' with a future focused and environmental lens.

Salary & Benefits

£65,000 + generous benefits package

  • Hybrid working, minimum of 3 days working in the office
