SDET - Automation Engineer - PHP - API - Test - Hybrid (Leeds) - Paying up too £500 (Inside IR35) - 6 months

My client have an App Platform that creates and manages data feeds for their mobile apps and websites.

The primary language used within the App Platform from a development POV is PHP, however they are currently pushing their estate into the new world of Typescript - this will be the future primary language. It would therefore be very useful if the individual had a good understanding of Typescript.

In terms of automation testing, currently they use a few frameworks across their applications - Karate (which is Java based), Cucumber and PlayWright (this is the latest framework adopted by the team and again, is based in Typescript)

Requirements:

• MUST have excellent API knowledge / understanding
• MUST have Development experience in PHP, Typescript
• Experience in some of the following would be an advantage: Karate, Cucumber, PlayWright and Postman
• Jira/Confluence/Swagger experience (nice to have)
• Feel comfortable with GIT
• 2 Days a week onsite in Leeds.
